Who are we?
Meet our Staff
The leadership of the Derby Church of Christ follows the Biblical Teachings of the Bible.
Our beliefs
… that the Bible is the inspired word of God – a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. (2 Timothy 3:16 & Psalm 119:105)
… that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, who died for our sins and arose from the dead. (1 Corinthians 15: 1-8 & John 3:16)
Our history
In the fall of 1954, members of the Church of Christ in Derby, Kansas, began plans to establish a congregation. The first service was held in the International Order of Odd Fellows Hall on December 5th, 1954, with almost 90 present.
